Chapter 3 - Gen 11 - Tyler

I was talking to Trent when I suddenly saw his face change

"Who the hell are you!!!??? and what the hell are you wearing!!!????"

He was talking to someone stood behind me

I spun round and could not believe what I was looking at.

"My god you look like you have just stepped out of the time machine in those clothes"

"Actually I have!!"

"Who are you?"

"I am your sister Jodi, your Tyler and Trent aren't you so who is Tyler and who is Trent?"

"You what, did you just say sister???!!!!"

"Mom and Dad left me in the past"

"You are a crazy woman!!"

"I am not crazy honestly!!  The Keeper of Times wife looked after me"

"You must be crazy I have never heard anything so bizzare!!"

"The Keeper of Time told me my parents had used the time machine to go back in time to make a baby, a child older than their oldest son - the older child could then become the heir to their family thing, instead of their gay son"

"Charming!!!"

"So is it a crime to be happy in this time?"

Me and Trent just looked at each other and burst into fits of laughter
She must have thought gay was happy.

"What's so amusing??"

"You!!"

"OMG - Jodi, your mother is going to be so pleased, she has been giving me hell since we left you!!"  Dad walked in, me and Trent soon stopped laughing, my god she was being serious!!!

"Dad, what the hell is going on??"

"Tyler how long before you become a mature adult?"

"89 why?"

"Jodi - how long for you?"

"101"

"DAMN!!!!  We didn't go back far enough!!"

Dad had to sit down with us and explain about what him and mom did in the time machine and why.  He also told us how he too had come to this time from the time machine, when his father had used a time machine to travel to the past.

"Sorry we didn't believe you!!"

"That's fine I guess it must have been a shock to you!!"

"Just a little!!"

"So your the happy one then"

"No gay doesn't mean happy, well it does, but not in this case,

it means Romantically I like men not woman"

"But your a man!!??"

"Yes, a man who likes men is called gay"

"Oh no you will be flogged for that!!"

"They don't flog people anymore"

"They don't??"

"No!!"

"Dad Tyler has just been explaining to me the problem you have"

"It is giving me a headache, especially now that we have messed up with you!!"

"You know, its probably a good job you messed up with me!"

"Why do you say that?"

"Because I doubt I will be giving you any grandchildren either because I dislike children!!"

"Oh no, do you have the Dislike Children trait?"

"Yes I do!!"

Mom found this highly amusing at first then started to get upset!! 
Jodi stayed with us for a short time, it was thought best all round that she went to stay with Raven for a while,  closely watched over by Mom's Uncle Brad, as Raven and Jodie shared a trait in common that nobody could handle or understand.  This is when Trent found out who his real grandmother was.

Sometimes Trent used to drag me round to his human girlfriends place.
Saphire lived with her brother Jaiden and twin sister Jade, there parents were no longer alive.   I am sure these visits were aimed at pushing me towards Jade, even though it was Jaiden that attracted my attention.

All three siblings shared the same star sigh, ironically the same as mine Leo.  Even though I found Jaiden very attractive and we had a lot in common, unfortunately he had a girlfriend and saw me as a good mate.

 It is pretty strange that I should be completely compatible with Jade, star sign, traits likes and dislikes, we were so alike it was frightening but unfortunately she is female and didn't interest me in the slightest, even though I knew she was very interested in me, I was sick of my brother keep reminding me of this!!

So I suppose I should have known what was coming when Trent and Saphire got married - Saphire moved into our house and brought along her twin sister Jade.

I knew exactly what they were playing at and I was not very happy!!!

So I hid myself in my work, sculpting and painting and tried to keep out of Jades way as much as possible!!

"Why are you being so rude to Jade"

"I know why she is here Mom I am not stupid!!"

"Actually you are because she is a really nice girl and she really likes you!"

"Welll more fool her because I am gay remember!!"

"Well unfortunately you don't have the option to be picky - you need to produce an heir!!"

"Picky - you think I am being picky, well thanks a lot Mom

for even trying to understand me - NOT!!"

"I am sorry Tyler but if you were any of the other kids I would leave you alone to be what you want to be but unfortunately you have a responsibility to this family, we have tried too find away around this, we even tried to take the responsibility away from you with Jodi but that back fired on us, there is no way around this Tyler - you have to have a baby with a woman whether you like it or not!!"

"This isn't fair!!"

"I know Son and I am sorry, if there was anyway to relieve you of this burden we would"

I was feeling pretty angry!!  I could see my Mom was never going to let up, she will carry on until I do what I have to produce an heir.  I wish there was a way round this, its not like I could just adopt a kid, it has to be genetically mine.

I was taking my frustration out on some topiary when I got an idea!!

Dad had told us how he had come from the time machine because his Dad had visited the past and altered his own future by meddling in the past and saving an orphan.  His Dad does not renumber his Mother, he remembers nothing of the affair he was supposed to have had.  Maybe this might work for me.   I could have a child without all the "making" of it!!

So back I travelled into the past

and back I came empty handed.  I didn't care, I was going to keep on doing this and keep on going back to the past until I did bring back what I wanted - a child, my child!!

Experimenting with Time

"Do you trust me Sara?"

"Of course I do, but you need to explain to me why Leo its is not making much sense!!"

"It is simply, you know where I came from don't you"

"A time machine"

"Yes - exactly"

"So why do we need to go inside"

"I have had an idea - that might solve our problem!!"

"How can that machine solve our problem?"

"If we go back in time together, we can try for a baby, hopefully we can stay long enough to have a baby in the past that will be older than Tyler in this time, that baby would be your first born"

"I suppose I can see the idea but this is madness!!"

"Please just lets try, it could work!!"

"You go in first and I will follow you"

"I am scared Leo"

"Trust me there is nothing to be scared about, I will be right behind you!!"

After what felt like months in the time stream , was in reality only hours of normal time.

I backed out of the time stream distraught, waving goodbye and hating doing it, 

Leo screaming at me to move quickly as he tried to get out.

Leo fell out of the machine followed by a shower of arrows

"Sara you nearly got us killed!!"

"Leo we can't just leave her there"

"We had to, we didn't have a choice, you heard what the keeper of time said"

"I am never going to forgive you for this!!!"

"She will find us - that is what the keeper of time told us"

"How?"

"I don't know exactly"

"So not only did we do that for nothing - you made the problem much much worse"

"I am sorry I didn't think that would happen"

"You made me leave my baby behind - now what are we going to do??"

"I really don't know!!"

Four hours passed by and everyone in the house was sleeping

when the time machine suddenly lite up and the door opened.

Out walked Jodi Swan.

"Mom, Dad I am home, finally I found you, wow,

this is much better than that cave you left me in!!"

How ironic that she should come out with the Disliking Children trait!!

Thankfully the experiment did not work - she was younger than Tyler.

Chapter 2 - Gen 11 - Tyler

Now that they know and its all in the open, my Mom is very upset.

She is not upset because I am gay, she is upset because I am the heir to the Swan family wishacy and I need to produce an heir in order for the wishacy to continue - having a baby is not really on the horizon for me.

Unlike my sister Tia who is now married and has a baby on the way.

If only it was so simple for me!!

Ronnie and Tia have been together since they were teenagers, so it was no surprise to anyone that they would get engaged and married when they were old enough.

My parents are excited about being grandparents for the first time, but it is overshadowed by my problem, it should be me producing a grandchild, and an heir.

It is so wrong to fancy your brother in law and even worse when I get the wish to kiss him.  But I can't, imagine the trouble and upset it would cause!!!!!  I need a distraction!!

The distraction I find in my new obsession - sculpting.

Trent has his birthday and becomes a young adult.

It is not surprising that he turned out to look just like Dad.  And for this reason he shaves off his beard and wears his hair back in a pony tail, just to try and make himself look different.  Trent got a job at the Military base, which is where he met his girlfriend Saphire.

I was out in the garden tending tot he plants when Neal appeared.

"Tyler, I have something to tell you"

"What Neal?"

"Its my birthday in a few days and I am becoming elderly"

"So?"

"Well you won't be seeing me around because I have decided to retire"

"Well I will just have to call you then!!"

I thought to myself, I never go out of my way to see Neal, he is conveniently around and when he will be no longer popping up all over the place I wonder if I will even think about him, because what we have is nothing very serious for me!!

Tia had a baby girl, Jasmine, so I now have a little niece, that everyone is fussing over. 

Tia, Ronnie and Jasmine moved out and into a place of their own soon after and the house became pretty quiet and down to just the four of us.

I received a phone call  from my agent asking me to do some promotional work at the Pineapple Dance club. 

The place was dead, but I sat at the bar and ordered a drink.

 It was then that I spotted Orlando.

I talked to him for a while but then closing time came around a little too quickly.

I received a phonecall from the science facility, the same one as my Dad has had about the Master Invention.  My Dad still had not completed this opportunity, and I was pretty intrigued to find out just what the Master Invention was.  I need Palladium so I went off to the consignment store to see if there was any there.

"Hiya Grandma"

"I really wish you wouldnt call me Grandma you make me feel old!!"

"Well what else do you expect me to call you - Grandma?"

"You know, I guess your mother has not told you has she?"

"Told me what?"

"You do know I am not really your Grandma don't you!!"

"Eeeer - so your not my Grandma - how?"

"Not biologically no"

"I don't understand"

"I know your Mother classes me as her Mom, but I am only her step - mom and biologically I am actually your mothers Aunt.  My sister Raven is your real Grandma"

"Raven?"

"Yes, maybe you should talk to your Mom, she is probably going to kill me for telling you and maybe I should have kept my mouth shut, but really I think you should know!!"

I came out of the consignment store a little shocked at what Grandma Maisie had told me.  But I did not forget what I went there for and did come away with a piece of Palladium that I delivered to the science facility.  As I expected they asked me for 10 life fruit.

 The next day I had a day off work and I decided to go and get a tatoo, why I don't know!!

Tattoo done, and with a sore arm, I thought about Orlando so I headed off to the Pineapple Dance club.  On the way in I bumped into my Moms Uncle Brad.

"Maizie told me about Raven"

"Oh she did, does your mom know?"

"No I haven't mentioned it to her just in case I upset her, but Brad, why has she never told us about Raven being her real Mother?"

"Probably because she hates her, Sara hated that Raven turned her back on her when she was a baby and a child.  In a way she can not help it, she Dislikes Children and acted terribly, but you Mom will never forgive her and won't have anything to do with Raven"

"Does she look like Maizie?"

"Well, facially yes because they are twins but she has your hair colouring"

"I have never seen her"

"Probably not, she works at the stadium with your Grandad"

When I went inside the dance club I made my way to Orlando's bar.

While he was preparing my drink I sat picking his mind.  I found out we did not have compatible star signs and he was also in a relationship, engaged, to a woman.  That kind of dampened my spirits and put an end to that - he would not be interested in me!!!

I was band manager at work and got a promotion which meant I had to chose which root to take Rock or Symphony - I chose Symphony because I wanted to be a Hit Movie Composer, so I was now a member of the orchestra.  

I had not really done too much painting lately, I was too busy sculpting instead.

The time machine is sat in the same room as the sculpting table and I just felt it calling out to me.  I had wanted to go back into the past for a while, but Dad was not happy about any of using the machine.  I was a grown up now and what could he do - he could only shout at me!!!

My journey back into the past was pretty uneventful and not too much different to my first experience of time travel, except this time I did return wearing my own clothes.

"Dad is so not impressed with you!!" Trent said

"Tell me something I didn't know!!

"I am not on about you being gay, I mean you have been in the time machine haven't you!!

"Oh well - just add it to my bad list!!"

"You know, you could try and make an effort with this baby thing, 

do you know how much you are upsetting mom!!"

"You go sleep with a man then come back and tell me to make an effort!!"

"Eeww No Thank You!!!"

"Well that's exactly how I feel over sleeping with a woman!!"

"Tyler you really need to take this seriously"

"I am Trent - but what the hell do you expect me to do??!!!"
