Chapter 13 - Gen 2 - Taylor

I was feeling pretty miserable with Mom and Dad gone.  It was going to take me quite a while to get used to not having them around, I had relied on my Dad so much, he was constantly here to watch the children while we were all working.  We now had to find ourself a reliable babysitter and this worried me a great deal!!
Of course Kian and Tommy were virtually all grown up and are both good boys, and can be relied up on not to get into trouble and to be sensible, having them here was going to be a helping hand I was grateful for.  Tommy made me laugh - he set about trying to teach Kandice to talk - like he was trying to fill Dads shoes.
Kian spends a lot of his time in the basement, bashing one musical instrument or the other.  First thing most mornings when he woke up - straight down to the basement even before getting dressed and having breakfast.  The boy is obsessed!!!
Not feeling too good this morning and its not too long before I am running to the bathroom to throw up.  Looks like baby number four is on the way.
Samir and Kandice are now inseperable.  Everywhere he goes nearly, he has Kandice with him, it is very hard for any of the rest of us to actually get anywhere near her.  She is definately Daddies little girl.
I was not due to be at work till later on this evening, being a trauma surgeon I now work 7pm till 3am.  So the babysitter situation is not an issue at the moment with Samir back from work before I am due to start.  I panicked a little when my bleeper went off at 7.30am - there was an emergancy.
"It's Dads day off today - stop panicking mom!!" Kian reminded me
When I got back home four hours later, I was still feeling pretty ill and was sick again, so I knew it would not be long before I was on maternity leave again.
I only had a few hours before my shift would start again,  so I caught up on all my medical research in between the the two shifts and throwing up.
Even though I was exhausted when I left the hospital at 3am the next morning, I made a little detour on the way home via the grocery store, to stock up on apples.  I was getting prepared because I wanted a boy this time and I was going to make sure that I got one, even if it did mean me eating a load of apples.
I was quite surprised when I got home to find Samir and Kandice sat watching tv with two ghosts.  I expected everyone to be asleep.
You can tell Kandice has the genius trait - she can only just talk yet she knows exactly where Lee and Blue's ghosts should be instead of in our livingroom!!
"You are exercising too much Samir"
"No I am not Mom, I enjoy it"
"All that muscle doesn't suit you!!"
"Well I like it!!"
I think for once I had to agree with her!!
I can not believe I have just eaten 10 apples - well if it helps!!!   The worse thing is now I am going to have to wait until the baby is born before I know what it is, Mom is not here now to determine the sex of the baby for me before its born!!
I did not need to tell Samir I was pregnant he guessed as soon as he saw I was wearing maternity clothes.
"I want a boy this time" Samir said
"Oh well that's it then - we will have a boy because you always get what you want!!"
"I hope so!!"
"Well I have just eaten a load of apples so we better have a boy!!"
Being on maternity leave I always go a little stir crazy but it gave me the chance to teach Kandice to walk.  It was actually nice with Samir being at work I actually got to spend some time with Kandice
Tommie and Kian both got on the honour roll today, they have both been working pretty hard with their school work lately!!  They always do their homework when they get back from school, I have never really had to nag any of them to do their homework!!
"Mom where has my black hair come from??" Kian asked
"We think maybe your Grandad Sherman or maybe one of your great grandparents, we are not really sure."
Kain has got the neurotic trait like my sister Dawn, He spends a lot of time at the bathroom sink, brushing his teeth and checking the taps.
Kandice is now walking and none stop talking -
there is only her potty training left to teach her.
Keeley gets on really well with both of the boys, I think she may be a little gossip because she is always giggling away with them!!  She wants to be Tommies BF forever - which I thought was quite sweet!!  I think it is nice that she has grown up with her Uncle Tommie, I have aunties and uncles that I have never met, it was just me and Dawn till Liam and Anton came along.
I am feeling really fat again - I can not wait for this baby to arrive.
Kandice is a right little chatterbox - I am actually starting to worry that maybe she is clinging to Samir just a little too much!!  Hopefully when the new baby comes along she will find herself a new playmate.
Samir had just made his way up to bed when the pains started.
"OOOOOOOUUUCCCCHHHHHHH"
The pains were so strong I knew this baby was coming quickly.
"Why didn't you call me sooner Taylor?"
"There wasn't time - he arrived even quicker than Kandice did, I only had three pains before he arrived, quite scary really, imagine if I had been out somewhere when the pains started!!"
"I really hope he has blue hair like Kandice or your hair colour would be nice!!"
Kandice started squealing for attention and to be taken out of her crib as soon as we walked in with the new baby.  She does not want anyone else to get Daddies attention!!
We have decided to call the new baby Kane.
Two boys and two girls - it was just perfect!!!

Chapter 14
---------------------------------------
It has been really strange - all four of Taylor and Samir's babies have been born with an automatic Genius trait that has been unchangeable - I only got to chose one trait for them when they were all born!!!  It is making me laugh that Samir is continuously carrying Kandice around the house with him all the time - they seriously are rarely apart!!
