Chapter 5 - Gen 7 - Ocean

Paige is now a toddler, 

I was really pleased when he turned out to have my hair and eye colouring.

and of course Dad spoiled him so much when he was a baby he gets quite grizzly if he is left alone for too long.  So Dad who spoilt him is having to run round after him, but I think he actually enjoys it!!!

Leon wants to do everything - teach him to walk, talk and use the potty.  But Paige has other ideas.  Dad is ok to do the talking and walking - but the potty training - no chance!!!

 When Leon puts him on the potty - we have potty tantrums!!

He wriggles and kicks

and screams till Leon picks him up - he is seriously having none of it!!!

Now I don't know whether Paige is just being awkward or whether he is being very clever and has worked out a way for me to pay him some attention, because when I put him on the potty he is as good as gold!!  So I have the job of potty training because Paige won't let Leon do it - it has to be me!!

I was a little shocked when I realized I was pregnant.  Even though we had done a lot of trying there had been no signs, no tiredness, no sickness - suddenly there was a baby bump. 

 We both would like a girl this time.

So I am on maternity leave again, the day before I found out I was pregnant I had a promotion to Wiretap Reader - which is on the Forensic branch.  Leon got a promotion to Undercover Specialist.

I got an opportunity to write a biography for Kim Swan,  my sister in law, she is married to Oliver, my eldest brother.  This has kept me pretty occupied during this pregnancy.  The biography is far from finished and I think it will be quite some time before it will be.

Writing can actually be harder than you think it is quite stressful and pretty tiring too.  Napping in the daytime is not really a normal occurrence for me.

but I was rudely awakened from this nap by the baby deciding to make an appearance.

Later that night we came home with another boy.  Perry is Artistic and Virtuoso.
A little disappointed that it was not the girl we wanted but happy anyway!!

Paige is quick to investigate the new noisy thing taking his Dads attention away from him.  I don't think he likes his new little brother very much.

I finished off Paige's potty training so he has now learnt all his toddler skills.

"Your at it again aren't you!!"  Leon said

"At what?"

"Upgrading that bath instead of cleaning it!!"

"Yep!"

"Your mad!!"

"Can you stop that for a minute."

"I've nearly finished"

"I can think of better things we can can be doing while the boys are asleep"

"Oh I bet you can!!!  Do you ever think of anything else??"

"Not really"

"Well I am telling you now - no more babies till I am a DNA profiler!!"

"I know - I know!!"

I can safely say that Leon has got over his problem and we don't talk about it anymore.   He never has any of his panics and its like the problem never existed in the first place.  The trouble is I think now he is trying to catch up or make up for all the years that he missed out on - but I am not complaining!!

 Leon is now a Special Agent after having another promotion, he is at level 8 now and only needs two more promotions to achieve his lifetime wish, whereas I am only half way to achieving mine.

The doorbell rang and when I went to answer it Kandice was at the door. It was strange to see her as an elderly woman.  I wander if old age has stopped all her bed hopping antics??

She had come round to see Leon, but he was still at work so I told her to hang around he would be back in a few hours.  So she hung around in the nursery watching Perry sleeping and Paige playing.

I think that Kandice was pretty pleased to see Paige using the potty chair on his own and she played with him for a while on the xylophone until Leon got back.

Leon had another promotion today, he is now a Triple Agent.  Even though he only has to go to work three days a week they often call him in to examine new evidence anytime of the day or night when they need him which can be very awkward sometimes.

"You know what I heard about Lex's new wife??" Kandice said

"Mom, can you stop it - I am not interested in any of your ex's and neither should you be even if he is one of my uncles!!!!"

"Touchy! Touchy! If your Dad can get over it I am sure you can!!"

 Leon and Kandice carried on chatting for quite a while

 Then something surprising happened.
