Chapter 3 - Gen 2 - Taylor

Everyone seems pretty happy at the moment, I know that I am!!

Work is going pretty well for us both.  I am now a paramedic and Samir is a Lab Tech at the science facility.  His LTW is to be a Creature Robot Cross Breeder - he has a way to go to get there but I am sure  he will one day.  My LTW I actually achieved when I was a teenager - it was to be a Visionary which meant me mastering painting and photography.

My Dad is an interior designer, well he wants to be an interior designer.  He is self employed and can work when he wants to - he goes out and does renovation work for clients and spends a lot of time at the drawing board.

Mom is now a lot happier than I have seen her in a very long time, she is back to her old self again, but better somehow, maybe she has never been herself since she left her old life, to start her new one in this town without my Dad.

Now I have a baby brother or sister on the way as my Mom is pregnant.

I am actually getting used to having him arround and thinking of his as my Dad, it has taken time and it has been awkward for everyone, and Anton and Liam are now used to having a step-father.

I wish I was a little further along with my medical training, then I would be able to tell the sex of the baby.

I walked in on Samir and Anton having a debate over the wedding, Anton thinks we should should throw a big wedding party, not just a quiet family wedding.

Mom's tummy was getting very big - she was worrying that she was going to have another set of twins.  She decided just after her and Dad got married that she would like another baby and wanted just one more because she wanted a total of 5 children altogether.

Today of all days she went into labour, a few hours before me and Samir were due to get married,  just with our family there!!  I could not believe our luck!!!!

"Dad are you having the baby, you look like you are the one in pain!!!  I laughed

"OMG!!! - OMG!!!" Dad was freaking out.

It looks like he is not going to be a lot of use to her - but when he calmed down a little he managed to take Mom off to the hospital and Anton decided to tag along too!!  Our wedding plans totally forgotten, but I suppose that is quite understandable!!!

Understandably we were both pretty upset.  We had planned to get married out in the garden, just as it was getting dark enough for us to go out.  We were going to invite Samir's parents round and it was just going to be family, now it was all ruined - Mom going into labour - half of my family were at the hospital, and  god only knows what time they will be back home!!!

So we decided to get married anyway, with just the two of us.

 They returned home in the early hours of the next morning.  I now have another little brother who they have called Tommie.  Mom was really happy that it was just the one baby and Dad was really happy that it was a boy.

My Dad is finally learning how to be a Dad!!!  He actually is very good at it too, he has let Mom have a lot of rest and he has hardly moved from the cot, feeding and nappy changing, he is not letting anyone else near the baby!!

And of course I had to explain to Mom and Dad that we had got married privately while they were at the hospital, as our wedding plans had been interrupted.

 I finally got to cuddle my little brother, well Dad had to sleep sometime!!!

Then I was sick again, this was not the first time, I had been sick quite a few times,  at first I thought it was nerves before the wedding or something that I had eaten - but now I was not so sure!!  Now I had a nasty feeling that I may be pregnant.

We had not really talked about children, other than having them later on, neither of us really wanted a baby right now, not so soon anyway, if I was pregnant then its been an accident because we haven't been trying for a baby!!!   I nearly spoke to Samir about it but then decided to wait until I knew if I definitely was pregnant.

The more I thought about it the more I liked the idea of having a baby, so when I was painting a picture at the drawing table and kept feeling this weird sensation in my tummy like something was moving around in there I knew I was pregnant.

Mom checked me out and confirmed I definately was pregnant.

"I don't understand how it happened" 

"Well, I think you are way past the age of needing a birds and the bees talk"
Mom said and started laughing

"Noooooooooo," I started laughing with her  "I meant we haven't been trying  for a baby, so I did not expect it"

"Accidents happen - I thought exactly the same thing when I found out I was pregnant with you"

"I need to go and tell Samir, he does not have a clue yet that there was even a possibility of me being pregnant"

"Well, before you do, do you want to know the sex of the baby?"

"No - I don't think I do yet - I'll leave it to be a surprise!"

Just then Samir wandered into the room

"What are you two up to??"  Samir asked

"I'll leave it to you to explain to him!" Mom said and wandered off

"Explain what?"

"I know we have not talked about it or planned it but I am pregnant"

He just stood their looking shocked, I began to get a little worried when it took him so long to actually react to what I had just told him!!

"That is great!!!  Wow - I am going to be a Dad!!"

"Your happy then?"

"Of course I am silly!!"  he said "When did that happen, I thought we were being careful"

"Obviously not careful enough!!"

"If  you want to know what sex the baby is, Mom knows, but I told her I don't want to know, I'll wait till its born"

"Then I will wait too"

Taylor and Samir did not wish for or try for a baby - I have had another accidental pregnancy :(
Mind you the amount of time they wish for wahoo is ridiculous, the game has probably got sick of the amount of times i have to get them to wahoo to clear their wishes!!
